There are a lot more audio and video available inside the library compared to the champaign one. While those materials are categorized by name, you can hardly find a video if you can't remember the first word of it. Some stuff such as the education videos are put upstaires. An elevator is available if you carry a heavy book. It is a good library and I wish there are more new books in the library, and more parking places around.
PROS: more material
CONS: paid parking and very small parking lot
Beautiful buildings and large collection Reviewed by HelloMetro User on

Ilinois has an online website so you can request books, CD, and DVD from any public library in IL. And Urbana is definitely the major library in that online system. It has a lot of collections but its regulation is not that friendly if comparing to Champaign Public Library. For instance, it only allows you to borrow a movie for three days which includes the day you borrow and day of return. The fine is also much higher. The whole building is new and very beautiful.
